We are inviting you to become our
PURCHASING MANAGER (f/m)
Your essential responsibilities will be:
* Formulating and implementing purchasing policy, establishing and developing relationships with the new suppliers and coordinating import procedures
* Closely tracking new developments and trends in the market, maintaining a keen focus on competitive offers and pricing
* Achieving sales and margin plans through the effective management of items
* Developing and planning seasonally appropriate merchandise assortments, identifying key item drivers and working closely with marketing in order to promote these key items
* Performing all other operating tasks connected to the job position
* Reporting directly to Procurator and Managing Director
Your profile
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
* At least 3 years experience in a similar managerial position with outstanding performance
* Excellent PC literacy & English (Italian would be an advantage)
* Highly responsible, hardworking, and with a results-oriented personality
* Considerable negotiations skills
* Superior knowledge of purchasing principles
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Personable, outgoing personality; a quick learner, comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative
* Effective multi-tasker
